Monroe splits cleanly in two, and the split decides the job. The older grid north and west of Main Street runs to mid-century homes with original ductwork and, often, a furnace that has been repaired one time too many. The developments east of town and out toward Chain Lake are newer, mostly gas forced-air on builder-grade equipment — and the 2000s-vintage units out there are reaching the end of a normal service life more or less all at once.
Permits for mechanical work inside city limits go through the City of Monroe. Step outside the boundary — Tualco, Ben Howard, High Rock — and it is Snohomish County instead. We pull whichever one applies; it is not something you should have to work out.
Churches and nonprofits are not an accident on that list. Genesis gives 10% of its time to churches, nonprofits and neighbors who need a hand, and most of it lands within a few miles of the shop.

Snohomish County PUD's heat pump rebates need the contractor to install AND file the application, which takes a rebate registration we do not hold — being listed in their contractor directory, which we are, is a different thing.
